MARSHALL, Texas – Pleasant Grove’s softball team rallied for three runs in the sixth inning Friday to upset District 16-4A champion Bullard, 7-5.

Lexi Snyder was the winning pitcher, scattering eight hits in seven innings. She walked two and struck out six.

Snyder also contributed a triple and run-scoring single. Maddie Horn drove in two runs with a double and single, while Bre Jones plated two more runs with two singles. Kristin Key had a triple, and Kaylee Kelly a double.

The two schools clash against Saturday at noon on the campus of East Texas Baptist University.
