Lady Hawks shut out Atlanta, fall to Marshall
ELYSIAN FIELDS, Texas — Lexi Snyder pitched four innings of no-hit ball, struck out seven and walked one as Pleasant Grove shut out Atlanta, 7-0, at the Brandon Goyne Memorial Classic softball tournament on Thursday.
Snyder doubled, Natalie Nickolson went 2 for 3 with an RBI, Presley Hargrove was 2 for 2 with an RBI and Haylie Teague led the Lady Hawks with 3 RBI.
Marshall no-hit Pleasant Grove in a 4-0 victory. Snyder absorbed the loss, pitched five innings, struck out five, allowed an earned run on two hits and walked three.
