The 4A State Cross Country Meet is almost here and two of Pleasant Grove’s runners will be competing after finishing in the top 10 at regionals. For both Katie Hutcheson and Katlyn Sweatman this will be their 3rd trip to state.

“I am hoping to be one of the top three at state and I am very excited to have another teammate that qualified as well going with me. I hope we both do great and run our best,” Katlyn said.

After competing in 2A for two years, Katlyn will run her first state meet in 4A division. Katie finished in the top half the past two years. Katlyn finished 2nd and Katie finished 8th at the race
