The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks basketball team soared into the regional semi-finals with 46-43 win over the Bullard Lady Panthers Tuesday at Marshall Mavericks gym.

Pleasant Grove (28-4) was led by senior Miaya Ware. Ware scored 13 points including two 3-pointers. She was helped out by Lady Hawk teammates Ashanti Levingston, and Shanequa Henry who each scored 7 points. Asia Lloyd scored 6 points for the Lady Hawks. Bryana Block and Keshawn Davis each chipped in with 5 points for the PG girls who advanced to the regional semi-finals for their second year in a row.

Bullard was led by Haley Day

The Bullard Lady Panters were led by Haley Day who scored 15 points. Her teamate Bailey Smith scored 9 points.

The Lady Hawks will play Lincoln Dallas Friday at 6 p.m. at Texas A&M University in Commerce. The game will be broadcasted live on 94.1 FM ESPN-Texarkana. Bob DelGiorno will provide the play-by-play.
