HALLSVILLE, Texas — Pleasant Grove's varsity boys and girls earned a total of 12 medals in their spring opener.

"This was a great start to the spring season for the Hawks," Pleasant Grove head coach Erik Pickett said.

Grant Mitchell earned first place in boys A singles, and Lilly Pace was first in girls B singles for the Hawks.

Ramsey Noble and Elaina Shellogg took home gold in girls B doubles, while Ryan Franklin and Autumn Crouch placed first in mixed B doubles. Anna Guan and Rose Anderson were third in girls A doubles.
