VAN, Texas — Pleasant Grove fared well against eight regional teams Friday in the Van tennis tournament.

The Hawks brought home eight medals.

"We had some crucial wins that hopefully will ensure us getting seeded at regionals," said PG coach Erik Pickett.

Mixed Doubles: Rose Anderson and Grant Mitchell, first place, Ramsey Noble and Spencer Potts, fourth;

Boys Doubles: Jack Humphrey and Stone Robertson, third, Chance Tutolo and William Saldino, consolation winners;

Girls Singles: Lauren Carroll, quarterfinals; Courtney Kirk, consolation finalist;

Girls Doubles: Elaina Shellogg and Autumn Crouch, quarterfinals; Anna Guan and Lilly Pace, consolation winner;

Boys Singles: Rhett Gatlin, fourth.
