COACH JOSH GIBSON'S COMMENTS: "Our defense did well, and it was great to see because they pursued hard in practice. They stepped up and really embraced the moment. They practiced hard and took a step this week.
"We had some adversity come our way, and the kids did not use it as an excuse. They keep producing and that is special. I am proud of them. One of our core values is growth, so we want to take steps each week. We should be seeing growth. The best teams get stronger each week, and I believe we are doing that. Our guys are taking big steps and that's big for us."
